Exciting times for Habitat Recovery Alliance recipients as they are receiving their new gate signs, nest boxes and having site visits from Stephen Anderson and/or Kim Thompson to assess their properties, in readiness for on ground works to begin.
Landcare Australia have provided HRA with funds to support approximately 15 landholders who were impacted by the Cudlee Creek fires, to start their restoration process. In some cases, this may be managing the weeds in remnant vegetation, mitigating erosion in some watercourses, direct seeding a native grassland, planting tubestock and installing nest boxes, or all of the above.
For those in the wider community who wish to register their interest in receiving tubestock, you will need to register through Eventbrite
